I think health is a state of balance and taking both mental and physical health into consideration. When I work with my clients, we of course focus on physical health and improving fitness and strength by training, recovering, hitting steps and seeing/ achieving progression over time but we also focus on the more emotional side of things and each individual’s mindset.
If your mindset is not strong your body will never be as strong as it COULD be.
To me, working with my clients will take all of this into consideration and we take a holistic approach. We are never in a rush. We think marathon and not a sprint because at the end of the day, extremes and quick fixes are not a reflection of “health” nor are they maintainable.
